About
Giving myself to full time missions in partnership with the international missions organization Youth With A Mission (YWAM)to see the world transformed by the love ofJesus.I'm working with the Community Transformations DTS (Discipleship Training School), a program that trains missionaries from all over the world to first and foremost, love God with their whole being, and then to selflessly love and serve others across the globe. As a staff member, I'm involved in the training and discipleship of students, as well as leading a team of people on an outreach somewhere in the world to serve people in need and share Jesus with them.As a community of believers, we believe that by loving God, and being loved by Him, we display the transformative power of the gospel to the world. As we walk like Jesus in the nations, bringing his love to every part of society, to the rich and poor, to the lost and the broken, the simplicity of encountering God and his gospel transforms the world.I also have a passion for filmmaking, photography, and a good game of ping-pong.Photo: Jannell Althoff

Comm Trans is a world wide - ragtag community of Jesus followers dedicated to community, generosity, solidarity, intimacy, obedience, and faith while trying to walk out the simple gospel.
The 6 month Community Transformations DTS (Discipleship Training School) is designed to equip and unleash a generation upon the world who are fueled by radical prayer and deep love, willing to change the world and disciple nations! As a DTS community we come before the Lord daily to learn from him, apply the word of God radically to our lives, and take the message of Jesus to the streets.

Before the DTS began and all the students arrived, the Comm Trans men on staff honored the ladies by hosting a smoothie bar, speaking words of encouragement over each one of us and performing this song… it was an amazing evening. I am incredibly blessed to working along side such wonderful people.

I love innovative, creative ways of making the world a better place… Sevenly has the whole package when it comes to implementing their plan to support those doing great things on the planet… they have a good idea (everybody loves a good t-shirt, huh?!), clear vision, a nice web page, and great designs. Like Charity:Water, they do a really good job of informing the buyer/donor of how exactly their dollars are making a difference.

A couple years ago for my 20th birthday I decided that instead of getting gifts I’d ask people to give to Charity:Water, a non-profit that provides clean water to places in the world without any. I just got a report that the money raised that day helped provide a well in an Ethiopian village called May Ayni.
